If you build or manage websites for clients, the hardest part of a review is rarely the fix. It's figuring out what the client meant. "The button near the top looks off" can describe five different things.
Website feedback tools solve that by letting people comment directly on the page. They differ a lot in who pays, how clients get in, what developers receive, and whether the review happens on a phone. Below are five tools we think are worth a look, with facts taken from each company's own website on October 15, 2026.
A note on fairness: SiteMark is our product. We've tried to describe every tool, ours included, by what its own site says, and to be clear about where SiteMark is the wrong fit. Prices are list prices in USD and change often, so check each link before you decide.

SiteMark (by webIQ)
Best for: freelancers, small agencies, and site owners whose clients will review on their phones, and who want each request pinned to the exact element.
SiteMark works on the live page. You press and hold anything (a heading, an image, a section) and type what should change. The request is attached to that element. The page is always shown at phone width, so the review matches what most visitors see. You share the finished review with one link that needs no account and can be revoked. Every request gets a fixed number and a status. Developers can download the whole review as a PDF, a spreadsheet, a JSON file, and all attached images in one archive, organized by page.
Pricing: one seat is free. Paid seats are $5 per person per month, and the page gives "$25 a month for five" as an example. Websites and reviews are unlimited, share links are free, and you can cancel seats anytime through Stripe.
Where SiteMark is not the right fit (today): SiteMark's page doesn't list integrations with task trackers, screenshot or technical-metadata capture, video feedback, or review of PDFs, images, or design files. It's built around the phone-width view. If you need Jira sync, desktop-layout QA, session replay, or feedback on design files, BugHerd, Marker.io, Markup.io, or Pastel may fit better.

How to choose
- Who's giving the feedback? If clients will review on their phones, choose a tool built for mobile review. If internal QA is reviewing on desktop, technical capture matters more.
- Where do fixes get tracked? If your team lives in Jira, Asana, or Linear, check which plan includes that integration. On BugHerd it's Premium, and on Marker.io Jira is on Team.
- How do you want to pay? Per seat (SiteMark), per plan with member tiers (BugHerd, Marker.io, Pastel), or per item reviewed (Markup.io). Run the numbers for your real team size and number of projects.
- What do you review besides websites? If it's PDFs, images, design files, or video, look at BugHerd, Markup.io, or Pastel.
- Try before you commit. All five offer a free plan, a free seat, or a free trial.
