SiteMark and BugHerd both let people leave feedback directly on a website instead of in an email thread. They're built for different jobs. Here's a fair look at each, using facts from their official sites on October 15, 2026.
SiteMark is made by webIQ, the publisher of this page. We've tried to present BugHerd by what its own site says, and to be clear about what it does better.
The short answer
- Choose BugHerd if your team wants feedback to flow into a task board and tools like Jira, Linear, or Asana, with screenshots and browser details captured automatically. It also covers Figma, PDF, and image feedback and has video feedback.
- Choose SiteMark if your reviewers are mostly clients on their phones, you want each request tied to the exact element they pressed, and you'd rather pay per seat starting from a free one.

Where BugHerd is stronger
- Developer workflow. BugHerd sends feedback to a task board and, on higher plans, to Jira, Linear, Asana, ClickUp, and Monday.com. SiteMark doesn't list integrations.
- Technical capture. BugHerd captures screenshots and technical metadata with each report. That helps when you're chasing a browser-specific bug.
- More than websites. BugHerd handles Figma designs, PDFs, and images, and it has video feedback.
- Established tiers. It has a Custom tier with SSO, a dedicated success manager, and onboarding, plus a 60-day money-back guarantee.
Where SiteMark is stronger
- Phone-first reviewing. Clients press and hold on their phones, and the page always shows at phone width, so the review matches what most visitors see.
- Exactly which element. Each request is attached to the element the reviewer touched. When the target is ambiguous, SiteMark asks instead of guessing.
- Low starting cost for small teams. One seat is free, and paid seats are priced per person, with no contract.
- A handoff package. The whole review downloads as a PDF report, spreadsheet, JSON, and images in one archive, organized by page.
Pricing, side by side for small teams
- Just you: SiteMark's first seat is free. BugHerd starts at $42/month billed yearly (5 members), after a 7-day free trial.
- Five people: SiteMark's page gives "$25 a month for five." BugHerd Standard covers 5 members at $50/month monthly or $42/month billed yearly.
- Ten or more: BugHerd Studio covers 10 members at $80/month ($67 yearly). SiteMark adds seats at $5 per person per month.
Both are list prices from each official site on October 15, 2026, before any taxes. Check both pricing pages for your exact team size.
Bottom line
If your feedback loop runs through developers and a ticket system, BugHerd is a mature, well-integrated choice. If your feedback loop runs through clients on their phones, and you mainly need them to point at the exact thing and say what to change, SiteMark is built for that and costs little to try.
